Why should I sign a Litigation Addendum and pursuing litigation?
We recommend every client explores the opportunities, depending on what Koppa’s data reveals about potential cases. We can customize our approach in coordination with your objectives and the lawyer’s guidance.
Ultimately, you decide how you’d like to proceed. For example, if we determine you have a solid case, the attorney might suggest that we suspend takedowns in order to collect further data. You are still welcome to request takedowns on specific listings. We work with you every step of the way!

I have a patent. Can Koppa enforce patent rights?
Yes, though there may be limits on the listings we can take down. In some cases, patent infringement can be fairly weak compared to copyright and trademark infringement.
What should I do before I have Koppa register my images with the U.S. Copyright Office?
- Contact sam@koppa.ai! We have a lot of infringement data, and you might be surprised at what it reveals.
- Send us the raw photographs. You can register up to 750 unedited photographs for the same cost as 10 graphic designs.
- Send us the date the images were taken, along with the time they were first used on your point of sale (if applicable)
An infringing listing has been up for months. What should I do?
If the infringement is on a major e-commerce platform, such as Amazon or Alibaba, please email us the link—we’ll pursue it ASAP.
If the infringement is on an independent site, takedowns may require legal action. Please send us the link, but be aware that you may need to take steps to register your intellectual property and sign a Litigation Addendum.
How can I ensure you won’t take down legit listings?
Please send us a list of all legitimate sales platforms and social media outlets—we’ll whitelist them.
The data you’ve provided is messy. How can I see the information I want?
Click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner. From there:
- If you want to see what hasn’t been reported yet, click “Status,” then click “Not Yet Reported.”
- If you want to see what we have reported so far, click “Status,” then click “Reported.”
- If you want to sort by product, click “Product” and select your product title.
